Manufacturing Corrugated Board, Single Face Rolls and Converted Paper Products

Environmental News

As a leading supplier of recycled and sustainably sourced virgin fibre paper and paper products, we take the environmental impact that our operations have very seriously. We utilise, wherever possible, recycled pallets and encourage our clients to return pallets and we maximise our transport efficiencies by “back loading” our vehicles with raw materials. We also employ state of the art vehicle routing technology to ensure that the most efficient and eco friendly route is taken by our delivery fleet. We have also invested in replacing all our filament and fluorescent light sources with low energy LED technologies.

We have recently invested in two major projects that aim to reduce our carbon footprint significantly over the coming years:

1) Highly efficient  compressor replacing 3 older compressors – it is recognised that compressed air is one of the highest energy uses in the modern world and by taking out the older compressors and running on just one will reduce carbon emissions from this source by around 50%.

2) New Boiler – we have just commissioned a highly efficient boiler that aims to reduce the energy required to raise steam for our corrugating operation by around 30%.

We will continue to invest in projects that help reduce our carbon emissions over the coming years and are always looking at ways to minimise waste within our manufacturing processes.
